After meeting Lisa Mazzarella in person, there is no one better to formulate the skincare line. She’s extremely passionate about what she does, getting it right, and producing a high-performance product.

When Gemma Magazine had a moment, we had the fantastic opportunity to speak with Lisa Mazarrella in person about her line.
What inspired you to start your own line of skincare? You had an extremely successful law career?
I felt that my skin was getting flat and dull, and I had tried everything. Nothing was working. Finally, I took it to research the skincare industry and the specific ingredients used in various products. I did not want to use random products for “high-performance” results. I decided to go with essential oils and wanted to feel good on the outside –the way I felt inside. I also wanted one product with all active ingredients to do the job versus a variety of serums. Within four days, most women notice a change! I use the highest quality and pure ingredients and started with issues that I was struggling with: acne/blackheads, dark circles, and fine lines, and wrinkles.
How did people start to find out about your line?
I brought it to my doctor’s office, my aesthetician, and some of her clients expressed interest. I also got it to my medspa (who wanted it) and my friends — who are always the real test. The results were very positive. When I commit to something, I dedicate all the way, and I want to make sure it turns out correctly. I took the time to look, study, and formulate what specific ingredients would help each oil conquer various skin issues.
What are some of the ingredients that you use in your facial oil?
Well, vibrancy is key. We all want the “glow.” Karisma is anti-aging skincare but teenagers use it as well to prevent breakouts. The facial oil deeply moisturizes. It also revitalizes and illuminates tired, dull skin without an oily shine. It also smooths and helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. The ingredients are Jojoba Seed Oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Lavender Oil, Vitamin E, and Carrot Seed Oil.
