How do you like modeling and being an Influencer?

I am not going to lie. I never thought modeling was possible until a modeling agency reached out to me, and I met with them. They were so confused why I was not modeling already, but that was the first time it dawned on me to pursue modeling. I was convinced that I was not tall enough, and I was nervous about shooting with professional photographers out of fear that I would not photograph well. Once I started working with photographers for my Only Fans page, I got over my fear, seeing that the results of each professional shoot that I did would come out better and better each time.

I love having a platform that allows me to connect with my fan base and inspire others around me! This past year has been rewarding with my podcast "We’re Our Only Fans"(aka WOOF)— the first podcast to talk about OnlyFans openly. I could see how much I changed the space by speaking my truth and the number of people I was able to inspire by the number of messages I would get from fans telling me how much I changed their lives by being so open about my experience within the space. The ability to connect with my true fans on Only Fans makes me feel like my hard work and dedication to building my brand has been worth it when you see how much impact you have made.

How did you decide to go with digital marketing techniques?

I always dreamed of working from my computer and traveling while doing so during my senior year of college. I spent every free second I had learning how to make money online instead of going out and partying like everyone else. I wanted to find a way to escape the 9-5 life before I started in it because I knew it would not be for me. Once I realized how scalable online businesses are and how applicable digital marketing techniques would be for many different business models, I knew that it was worth spending my time learning. It is funny because all the methods I learned are now finally paying off with my multiple businesses and even being an influencer. I’m a logical person, so I always want to understand why certain things work. Other things do not oppose just making a lot of trial and error (which I still do), but knowing digital marketing techniques helped me get where I wanted to be faster because I could see why some things worked and others did not.

Tell us about the podcast.

So my podcast that blew up over the past year was called "We’re Our Only Fans," which was about breaking the stigma around only fans and sharing my journey of what it is like to be an Only Fans creator. I feel like this topic is not discussed enough because OF is a taboo subject. However, we wanted to give creators a safe space to talk about their experiences and educate creators interested in joining the platform. I enjoyed doing "We’re Our Only Fans" but now that OnlyFans is rebranding. Therefore it is the perfect opportunity for me to evolve as a creator and expand from just talking about Only Fans; thus, my solo podcast "Not Your Future Girlfriend" will be launching in the fall! I am super nervous about this solo venture but creating this brand has been a dream of mine since I was 21, and now that I have the opportunity to and experience in the space, I am confident that I am equipped to podcast successfully on my own! I’m excited to be able to talk about my regular life that does not involve Only Fans. I feel like there is a whole other side to me that the world does not know about yet, so I am thrilled to be able to share my most authentic self on my new podcast. Make sure to keep your eyes out for my new podcast by following me on Instagram @its.kaitlen and following the podcast page @noturfuturegirlfriend.

What do you love most about living in Miami?

I moved to Miami super spontaneously and out of nowhere. My friend convinced me to come on vacation to Miami back in March, and I had such a good time I kept extending my vacation, which leads to me leaving Miami with a lease signed and my dream apartment. I love living in Miami because I have lived in California for the last six years -- first in Santa Barbara for college and then Santa Monica after I graduated, but I needed a change of pace. I am originally from NJ, so I'm an east coast girl at heart, and it’s super nice to be closer to my family. I am not sure I will be here forever because most of my work and businesses are located in LA, but I figured since I’m only 24, this is the time to move around and try out different places and meet new people. I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to do that also because not everyone does.

How do you balance your schedule?

Honestly, this is one of my biggest struggles. For anyone who knows me, I am swamped and pretty much always working. It is almost impossible to get me to take a night to myself or relax. I’m pretty much always on the go, and when you think "I'm going to “chill out,” I usually go all-in on something new. I’m currently working on many projects that I have not announced yet but will be huge!

However, since I go back and forth to LA once a month, it has been a little easier to balance my schedule because when I’m in LA, I get a lot of my professional shoots done and collabs, and then when I’m in Miami I do more of the behind the scenes stuff. I always am in and out of zoom meetings no matter what day it is, but it’s cool now that it’s normal to work remotely, making it possible for me to live in Miami but still be able to work with my team in LA.

What are some of your passions?

Anyone who knows me knows I’m incredibly passionate about entrepreneurship and business. Since I was young, I was always super entrepreneurial and dreamed about owning my businesses, which I am now lucky enough to do. I like the process of building something from nothing and having the freedom to create something larger than myself that can impact the people around me.

Also, I am passionate about manifestation. I used to be really into manifestation before it was even popular. Between 2017-2018, I used to post about it and talk about how I made manifestation work for me, and so many people used to bully for it, so I stopped talking about it. However, now it’s trendy, and everyone is talking about it, so I can openly admit that I’ve manifested pretty much everything in my life, from my career to where I live, what I look like, the people I surround myself with, etc. When manifesting, it’s essential to affirm what you want, feel the feelings of already having it, act like the person who already has these things you want, and then have faith that the universe is conspiring in your favor. Believe it or not, the universe always brings you what you asked for or better, so enjoy the journey and release your expectations.

What do you do to wind down?

Most people do not know this, but I love to read and listen to audiobooks! I mainly read books on business, spirituality, or self-help. I think it is important to constantly learn and sharpen your skills to stay ahead of the curve. It is also a great activity to get away from your phone and social media for a while. I find it really relaxing but also very grounding since my regular life is so hectic. It is the one time I feel like I can be completely present.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to get into the modeling industry?

The best advice is to 100% bet on yourself and is confident in what you have to offer. I would say that this applies to anything, not only just modeling, but one of my friends told me to bet on myself before I started going all-in on business, modeling, and influencing. It changed absolutely everything for me. If you do not bet on yourself, then no one else will, so it’s important to be your own biggest fan. Also, try your best not to compare yourself to others because you will bring yourself down. Everyone is on their timelines, and just because you feel behind or feel insecure about yourself does not mean that you should give up your dreams. Believe in yourself always. You can do anything you set your mind to.
